Such is life lately! I can't believe I haven't found time to post since Christmas! We have been VERY busy this year. A few of the highlights below...
Jack moved out of the crib into a "Big-Boy" Bed. He loves his new room and play space but mom and dad are still getting used to the freedom life without a crib brings!
We have really enjoyed playing outside this spring/summer. This summer has made me realize we have a little boy running around as opposed to a baby now. Afternoons are spent riding his tricycle, tractor and golf cart around the neighborhood, playing on the swing set and all kinds of outdoor sports. Jack loves baseball and golf and it has been fun trying to teach him basic rules of these games.
We announced we would be welcoming a new baby into our family in September! We are excited to add a baby girl to the mix. Jack has been reading up on how to be a good big brother, we've added a few girlie touches to the nursery to make it a little more feminine and I (and the grandmothers) have had too much fun stocking her closet with a new wardrobe!
Spent Easter with this cutie! Enjoyed multiple egg hunts, dying eggs, a great worship service and time with family.
March at the MASTERS! I was able to "check one off my bucket list" with a pair of tickets from my father-in-law. Brought this cutie back some golf apparel to remember the occasion!
Had some of our favorite people visit and have spent lots of fun afternoons at the pool and beach with friends.
I am hoping to stay a little more updated this summer as I know the fall will be even busier with a family of four!
